DISCIPLINE

Discipline is the crowning jewel of life. It makes a nation great and prosperous. Without discipline a School, College or the University will be reckoned as devil’s workshops. Discipline is observance of self-control and spontaneous acceptance of certain code of conduct. Discipline is in the interest of a happy collective life, a political party an institution army, office, a school, college or the university. It is basically needed for an educational institution, where the students learn it daily from their teachers. Through the glowing precepts of discipline, the teachers build up their sublime moral character. Discipline makes the human relations healthy, tolerant and cohesive. It keeps restraint on our reckless will and unbridled freedom. In every sphere of life it is a must and in dispensable in every walk of life. A peaceful home can’t be imagined of, without discipline among the members of the family. Discipline is the bedrock of a successful life. In- discipline conversely causes disorder, chaos, lawlessness and nuisance. It destroys peace, progress and prosperity of a home, an institution or a factory. The lessons of discipline can better be imprinted in the minds of the young learners at schools. As the Director of the Green Mount Academy , I much insistently convey to the teachers that the lives of the students will miserably be doomed to sheer disappointment if they fail to teach the glowing lessons of discipline at school. The severe consequences of unlearnt lessons of discipline are apparently observed in the turmoiled public life which have made national and international lives hellish and ghastly. Indiscipline grows into terrorism, carnage and conflagration, So teachers must assimilate discipline in the character of the students. Our learned teachers must bear in their minds that discipline is the refining fire by which talent becomes ability. The children shouldn’t be unbridled due to over affection which is very ruinous. To make the students disciplined, teachers have the prime duty to establish close contact with the parents because a child imbibes discipline from the cradle in the loving care of his parents. Due to growing in-discipline all over, the world resounds in disquieting commotion.

It is needless to say that an individual has two lives, one is his personal and other for the society. So every individual should pay much heed to his social life, otherwise he will be considered unsocial and savage. So discipline is the basic need of human beings. The growing indiscipline clouds up our vision and corrodes our lives. The teachers must look to it in the development of the character of the students since their early age. For a happy and corporate life, discipline is unavoidable. So the teachers must be careful about it. Tolerance truthfulness, humility kindness and nobility are the preconditions of discipline and so the teachers must be particular about it. A nation can’t prosper materially and culturally unless its citizens are disciplined. Without discipline the life of an individual is almost like a boat without oars. So the boat flounders over the bosom of a river and is capsized. The lives of the great men tells us that by observing discipline, they could become august. So I inspire the students of my Green Mount Academy to read the life-stories of great men and emulate their ideals.

 DREAMS THE HARBINGERS   OF SUCCESs

Since my early age, I had dreamt of becoming an ideal teacher. I had multitudes of dreams by that time and so long my dreams were disintegrated. They had no concrete forms. They were scattered into fragments. When I indulged myself in private tuition, the fragments of dreams began to blend with each other and came into charming and specific forms. Then I personally collected the beautiful dreams and vitalized them with my aspirations. My ardent wishes throbbed into my heart. Gradually I was swayed by the flight of imagination. Previously my imaginations were flightless and they couldn’t  soar up. They were inactive and much feeble. In course of time my imagination grew agile and active. The strong imaginations enlivened my dreams. I was on the wings of imagination and was lost in a sweet reverie. The surge of joy thrilled me with pleasant thoughts. I imbibed perennial source of inspiration. All the dreams assumed colourful magnificence and prompted me to adorn the future of the students. I was prone to teach the pupils many things that I knew. I performed my duties vigorously with immense devotion. A long passage of time has rolled on but there is no slackness in my dedication to the students, who became so near and dear to me as the fount of filial affection streamed out of my heart for them.

I always infuse imagination into the hearts and minds of the learners which widens their mental horizons and emblazons their minds with lucent dreams. Without dreams they can’t adorn their lives elegantly and without them, they can’t prosper in their lives which will be dishevelled. The dreams provide them new direction of thoughts and illumination of their vision. The dreams are the harbingers of progress for the young learners. They infuse radiant hopes into the drooping hearts of the learners. The dreams sprinkle their minds with ecstasy and new incentive like the cool shower of rain. The dreams strengthen the minds of learners and sharpen, their intellect. They activise the brain to work vigorously in a particular direction and make the minds much receptive. When I engaged myself in private tuition, I could realize the intrinsic value of dreams, the great renovators. I could learn that the dreams play the central role in shaping the future of the young learners. They are the torch-bearers  and the best guides. They escort us to the realm of success, quite undiscovered.

Thus, the dreams must not be discarded as absurd things rather they should be enlivened in the minds of the learners. Teachers should inspire the students to materialize them and give them appropriate shapes. Without dreams our zeal and enthusiasm flounder away. Thus the teachers must inspire the students to see dreams of becoming great and magnanimous.
